By the way, I have no idea how to upload data to you or anyone else. I can see where that might be helpful, but don't know hoe. Could you point me to a tutorial? Thanks
I just logged on to tell you how I figured this out. Hadn't seen your request for my data. I was giving a go at having WBPP provide me with three separate integrated channels for my OSC to see if would control some of the chromatic Aberration I was …
Well I've tried pretty much everything suggested here and I still get the dark center artefacts in many stars. Interesting that it is not in the brightest or biggest stars. This is frustrating enough that I am considering not using this camera with …
Actually I am sung a OSC . Sorry about the confusion. Do I calibrate all of my files (flats, darks, etc) or just lights before running them through SFS? I am assuming I calibrate lights in WBPP, then lights to SFS, then back to WBPP for all file typ…
I think I figured out what I was missing. I believe you are not worried about eliminating images. Your formula for weighting doesn't eliminate frames it just provides how much weight is given to each image during integration, based on the factors yo…
I guess that's because I have nothing in the Approval box. I thought perhaps, what you were showing eliminated the need for anything in approval, but apparently not true. When I add this in approval I do get some rejections. FWHM
That is the answer I was looking for. Thank you Adam. I was confused, becasue you still have to pick a location, like France. It would seem that would be blocked out if you had the data on your drive already.
I think that this is good. I am guessing and I think observing that using only with the screen stretch while adjusting the image and leaving the actual stretch until later in processing you have less problems with star bloating.
OK figured it out from the three video's you mentioned. Especially the third. I did leave me wanting a bit more though. If I am correct, saving is only a bit more complex with stretching, because it needs to be done with histograms. Missed that comp…
I understand that FastTrack is just to get your feet on the ground and not be so intimidated by the whole process. PixInsight is similar in complexity to the home study course I took in Photoshop over 20 years ago. But I am motivated. However as a s…
